The PAINUMAYA Resort, Iriomote Island hot spring is located in the northeast part of the Iriomote island which is an island of the maximum of south and Yaeyama Islands further of a main Okinawa island in Japan.
Access to the Iriomote island which shows a unique ecosystem is about 35 minutes by Ishigaki Island to ferry. Although two central port is located on the Iriomote island, it is "the Ohara harbor (Nakama harbor)" that the pick-up shuttle bus of this hotel departs and arrives.
The Ohara harbor is a harbor used as the vestibule leading to the outside to each colony of the eastern Iriomote island.
Unlike the Uehara harbor which is one of the harbour at west side of Irimote island has many flight cancellations of winter, the Ohara harbor is stabilized and can operate.
It hardly occurs except a typhoon that the ship of the Ohara harbor going is canceled from a stone wall somewhat even if ruined.
